Introduction:
Organizations are fast realizing that there’s need to define more preciously the development objectives of their programmes and projects. When results are mutually defined and agreed upon in close co-operation with partners and stakeholders, organizations become more manageable. RBM is a team-based and participatory approach to management that seeks to focus an organization’s, or project’s effort, on expected results. The basic purpose of RBM systems is to generate and use performance information for accountability, reporting to external stakeholder/audiences, for internal management and for learning and decision-making.
